Shironuri ★ Streetfashion in Düsseldorf

First of all : Happy 2015 to all of you ! I haven't forgotten about this Blog and as a New Year's Resolution I want to post more about my Hobby and my life in general. I hope you keep on reading the stuff I write. ٩(˙▿˙)۶

Well a friend of mine asked us if we know anyone who is more into J-fashion, because she needed a few models for a university project. As you might know I try to keep myself informed about the stuff happening in Harajuku. Back in 2007/08 I also liked to dress in Decora style. (click here for some pictures haha) I wasn't that advanced because being a cosplayer + dressing in that particular style was way too expansive for a student so I decided to focus more on cosplay.

So me and Sakimake decided to do the model job by ourselves. First I wanted to go for Mori Girl only, but than I ended up in Shironuri Style. It's a very interesting style because you're free to do anything you want you just have to paint your face plain white. If you don't know the style yet you should check out Minori's Twitter. If you searching through google looking for Shironuri style she will appear in 90% of the pictures. As a cosplayer your wardrobe offers lots of stuff you can use for this kind of style. I actually wanted to wear my Mori Girl Outfit as well, but we were too tired so I'll wear it in February instead.

I still had this old Luka Megurine (Vocaloid) wig laying around which I wanted to use for my Outfit. I don't like pink that much and If I'll do it another time I'll definitely go for Blue or Black, but for the first I wanted to use what I already had. I also didn't know if this kind of makeup would actually suit me ... I was very afraid looking like Effie Trinket from the Hunger Games ... _(:3」∠)_

... and luckily I didn't ! (well in my opinion you might have a different point of view haha)

You can see my friend Edo and me on these pictures. I think she is perfect for the Shironuri Style and she pulled it off very well ♡ She helped me with the white make up. I have to admit, that it felt weird walking through town dressed like this. German people are pretty narrow minded when it comes to fashion but besides a very unfriendly man in the train back home (who was a supporter of the anti-islamic movement Pegida) we just received some looks and were sometimes asked what we are up to do dressed like that. haha

Here is a picture of our full outfits. Edo on the right, Sakimake in Mori Girl Style in the middle and me and the left. I was wearing a self made peignoir (very badly made haha) a scarf which I bought in ebay, a very old dress which I also bought on ebay, rocking horse shoes (from ebay as well) and the infamous cat handbag which I got from Taobao. So really nothing special.
We were actually quite a few people with lots of different styles. I think when we were searching for a place to rest and have our dinner we were about 12 people. Half of them were models and the rest assistants and friends

I'm somewhat sad that we didn't take a group picture ... but it seems like I'll be forever alone with my love for group pictures _(:3」∠)_ but look at these pictures ... isn't Sakimake a Cutie Pie ?!? ノ´ヮ´ )ノ*:・゚✧

Of course we had Ramen for Dinner

Oh - you might want to see a preview of our pictures :

It's just a preview so nothing is finished yet. Photos were taken by Midgard. She really is a talented photographer and such a kind person ♡ You should really check out her work if you don't know her yet. It was the first time we were taking pictures together and I really enjoyed it. I'll make an extra post or post them on my Facebookpage when I'll receive more pictures. We also took some pictures with flash in the evening which turned out pretty nicely.

Bad quality but that's what we looked like on our way home. The day was pretty exhausting so we canceled the 2nd shooting on Sunday and just enjoyed the nice food in Düsseldorfs japanese district.

Hadn't had any Asahi since the Japanese Hotpot in China.

Kare Raisu and Miso Soup ★

It was also my first time drinking milk tea since my year abroad. I still like it very much. I prefer drinking it hot with green milk tea and tapioca.
All in all I had an amazing weekend, even though it was very exhausting because of the cold weather and the heavy make up. I hope we can do something similar again

See you soon,
